The Flagler County (Florida) Sheriff’s Office has released video of deputies responding to a submerged vehicle on Jan. 5.
Deputy Prevatt and Deputy Lichty responded to a crash with injuries involving two adults and a small child after their vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a ditch filled with water.
Flagler County So says the deputies arrived to find a dazed and bleeding male outside of the vehicle and noticed that an adult female and small child in a car seat were still trapped inside the vehicle just above water.
“Deputies forced entry into the car and, with the aid of firefighters from the Palm Coast Fire Department that had arrived to assist, pulled the child out of the partially submerged car. The child, who was alert and conscious, was turned over to firefighters and paramedics for evaluation and treatment. Deputies then worked as a team with firefighters to rescue the female from the vehicle,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook.
