A Knox County, TN, Sheriff's deputy was shot and seriously wounded during a domestic response Sunday night. The suspect is dead.
The deputy was shot Sunday around 11:15 pm, WBIR.
As of Monday morning, the deputy is fighting for his life at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, according to the sheriff's office.
"He needs prayers, his family needs prayers and our blue family as well," KCSO Communications Director Kimberly Glenn said.
