A Pennsylvania state prisons correctional sergeant shot a suspect who also shot her during an attempted carjacking in North Philadelphia Tuesday night.
Investigators said it happened around 10:30 p.m. while the sergeant was pumping gas, 6ABC reports.
"The cameras clearly show the 35-year-old putting gas in her BMW vehicle when the male approaches her and grabs her, puts her in a bear hug from behind and then there's a physical altercation and they both pull weapons and they shoot each other," said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The sergeant was shot twice in the leg and the 22-year-old male suspect was shot twice in the lower back and leg, police said.
