NIJ guides focus on investigative resources
The National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) provides one of the most extensive sources of criminal justice information in the world, providing services to an international community of policymakers and professionals.
A series of guides on investigative topics published by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), the research branch of the U.S. Department of Justice, is available from NCJRS and include Crime Scene Investigation: A Guide for Law Enforcement (NCJ178280); Eyewitness Evidence: A Guide for Law Enforcement (NCJ 178240); Death Investigation: A Guide for the Scene Investigator (NCJ 167568).
