National Police K-9 Competition Held in Minnesota

The department is hosting the National Patrol Field Trials and Competition for police canines through Thursday. It's the 36th such competition held annually by the United States Police Canine Association.

Up to 150 canines from across the country, along with their handlers, will compete for top honors in seven law enforcement drills.

The home team, St. Paul's canines, has taken top department honors seven times.
