Campus Safety Magazine, a sister publication of POLICE Magazine, will host a security conference from April 27-28 in Tampa, Fla., to educate law enforcement officers and others.

The Campus Safety Conference will feature two days of panel sessions and discussions that will specifically address how hospital, school, and university police agencies; public safety departments; administrators; and other campus stakeholders can prevent, detect, and respond to many types of safety and security-related incidents.

Campus police chiefs and public safety directors, municipal, county, state and federal law enforcement officers, as well as school administrators, superintendents, and principals, are eligible to attend this conference.

The conference will help attendees identify funding sources, present solutions and products, offer suggestions on budget stretching, identify opportunities in President Obama's stimulus bill, and teach grant-writing techniques to help agencies pay for programs, people and equipment.

So far, 30 exhibitors have registered for the conference. Exhibitors include Cisco Systems, Digital Ally Inc., Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, Law Enforcement Supply, Motorola, Siemens Building Technologies, Thales Communications, and Valcom.

Attendees who register for the Campus Safety Conference before April 5 will save $125. For more information, visit the conference website or call (800) 576-8788.
