The quick action of a Santa Clara (Calif.) County Sheriff's deputy is credited with saving the life of a newborn who was just 17 days old, SFGate.com reports.
Two deputies, Rick Chaeff and Mike Laddy, were at a coffee shop on Monday when a woman entered and told them her granddaughter wasn't breathing. Chaeff was able to force air into the infant's lungs on the fourth try, and the infant started breathing.
