Legel maneuvering has delayed the probable-cause hearing for Maj. Nidal Hasan's defense for last year's massacre at a soldier deployment center at Fort Hood.
Col. James L. Pohl, the presiding Army judge, stopped the hearing at midday. The Army psychiatrist's defense team led by Lt. Col. Kris R. Poppe asked for a continuance until Nov. 8 to allow time for processing of what he described only as "paperwork" recently submitted to Army officials, reports the Dallas Morning News.
