A fan returning home from the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs game Sunday has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault for allegedly running a stop sign and crashing into a patrol car.

The impact knocked the cruiser into the front yard of a home, and the injured passenger-side officer needed to be cut out of the vehicle.

Frank J. Ross III, 30, had a blood-alcohol content of 0.185, more than twice the legal limit, reports the Kansas City Star.
