Three members of a multinational Vietnamese drug-trafficking syndicate have been indicted in a $10 million February bust involving a suburban New Jersey patrol officer who sniffed out a grow house.

Three members of a multinational Vietnamese drug-trafficking syndicate have been indicted in a $10 million February bust involving a suburban New Jersey patrol officer who sniffed out a grow house, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.

While on patrol in February, Monroe Township (N.J.) Police Officer Thomas Lucasiewicz detected an odd smell. When he stopped to investigate, his nose led him to a rented home with smoke pouring from the chimney.

In all, investigators found six rented cultivation houses outfitted with clandestine nurseries.
