Baltimore Cop Fired In YouTube Skateboarder Flap Wants Job Back
Salvatore Rivieri, a 19-year veteran, was fired in August amid public outcry over the incident. Officer Rivieri is seen pushing the 14-year-old and berating him. The officer had instructed the teens that they could not ride their skateboards in the area.
A veteran Baltimore Police officer who was fired for berating a teenage skateboarder after a video clip of the incident was posted on YouTube is seeking to regain his position.
On Monday, a judge sided with the city's decision to dismiss the officer, reports WBALTV.com.

The officer was disciplined for failing to document the 2007 encounter in a written report, reports the Baltimore Sun.
