Lincoln County (Okla.) Sheriff's deputies arrested the county's emergency manager and 911 director, who was involved in a drunken joyride with his son and two other men, reports the News-Star.
Joey Ray Wakefield, 39, is accused of driving his white Ford pickup truck last week with a blood-alcohol content of 0.17 in an area north of Chandler. Son Tyler, 18, and 19-year-old Justin Hill were with him at the time.
Wakefield was apparently celebrating his birthday. Conrad Max Caton, 31, who drove a second white pickup was also arrested. Caton showed off a new rifle, by firing rounds in the area, triggering a 911 call.
Wakefield served as a reserve deputy with the officer and is also a part-time officer with the Agra PD. He has been suspended from both positions.
