Wounded Oregon Officer Leaves Hospital In Good Spirits

Officer Steven Dodds, 45, was shot multiple times during a Jan. 23 vehicle stop. The officer will undergo several more surgeries and begin working on regaining his strength.

A month after he was critically wounded during a traffic stop, Lincoln City (Ore.) Police Officer Steven Dodds left the hospital "in good spirits," reports The Oregonian.

The officer will undergo several more surgeries and begin working on regaining his strength.

Officer Dodds, 45, was shot multiple times on Jan. 23 after stopping a car believed to have been driven by David Durham, 43. Multiple law enforcement agencies conducted a search and have yet to locate the suspected shooter.
