An illegal immigrant who had been deported in 2010 has been formally charged in the shooting of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
Manuel Osorio-Arellanes, 34, from El Fuerte in northern Sinaloa, became the first person charged in Agent Terry's Dec. 14 shooting. Osario-Arellanes was charged with second-degree murder and is not believed to be the shooter.
Terry, 40, was a member of the specially trained Bortac unit and on the evening of the attack was tracking a "rip crew" that assaults and robs drug traffickers.
