SEARCHOfficer Steven Dodds has been rehabilitating himself since Jan. 23, when he pulled over a 1984 Dodge Ram owned by David Durham of Portland. Dodds, who returned to the job on Monday, is assisting with the Detectives Unit and is expected to return to full duty.
The Lincoln City (Ore.) Police officer who was shot in the face at a traffic stop has returned to restricted duty nine months after the incident.
Officer Steven Dodds has been rehabilitating himself since Jan. 23, when he pulled over a 1984 Dodge Ram owned by David Durham of Portland. Dodds approached the driver side of the vehicle and was shot multiple times before the truck fled. A massive manhunt following the shooting was unable to locate Durham, who still remains at large.
Dodds, who returned to the job on Monday, is assisting with the Detectives Unit and is expected to return to full duty.
