VIDEO: Fla. Trooper Arrests Miami Cop at Gunpoint

Miami Police Chief Manuel Orosa addressed more than 40 of his officers Thursday morning, telling them to halt tensions with the Florida Highway Patrol, reports the Miami Herald.

Tensions between the agencies have escalated since Trooper Donna Wall pulled over Miami Officer Fausto Lopez and detained him at gunpoint in late October for speeding in his cruiser to an off-duty job. The trooper disarmed the officer and briefly handcuffed him before issuing a citation.

On Tuesday, Miami Police Officer Thomas Vokaty pulled over a uniformed trooper on the turnpike for speeding outside of his jurisdiction. Vokaty received a "record of formal counseling" for violating department policy.

On Saturday morning, Trooper Joe Sanchez awoke to find his cruiser defaced with five gallons of human feces, reports CBS.
