CHP Agrees To Furloughs

The California Highway Patrol officers union and Gov. Jerry Brown's administration have reached a furlough agreement to cut pay 5 percent for a year.

The California Highway Patrol officers union and Gov. Jerry Brown's administration have reached a furlough agreement to cut pay 5 percent for a year.

Under the deal, the CHP's roughly 6,300 officers will be furloughed eight hours per month starting July 1.

AL Officers Shot, One Killed

Two Huntsville, AL, Officers were shot Tuesday responding to a call. One was killed and the other is still in critical condition.

Nashville Police Release Video of Officers Engaging School Shooter

During the response multiple officers cleared the first floor of the building and then headed to the second floor when they heard gunshots. They enter the building at about 1:10 mark on the video and shoot the killer about two-and-a-half minutes later.
