A man who gunned down a Maryland trooper who had kicked him out of a restaurant received a life sentence on Thursday for the crime.
Cyril Williams, 29, had been convicted of first-degree murder in the June 2010 shooting of Maryland State Trooper Wesley Brown outside a Forestville Applebee's.
"Today was a great day for the family," Ebony Norris, Brown's fiancee, told the Washington Post. "Today we feel like justice has finally been served."
