VIDEO: Knife Attack at S.C. Traffic Stop

A Clarendon County (S.C.) Sheriff's deputy was forced to shoot a man who attacked him with a seven-inch butcher knife while he was citing a motorist for speeding.

Deputy Danny Graham was standing at the side of a white Chevy SUV explaining the ticket to the violator, when Anthony Pearson, 37, dropped his backpack, drew the knife, and advanced toward the officer.

In an audio recording, Pearson can be heard yelling, "Come on, motherf***er, Come on," while he draws the knife. The incident was captured on the deputy's dash-cam. The motive for the attack is still under investigation.

Sheriff Randy Garrett told WLTX the deputy made the right decision.
