An entrepreneur and Watertown, Mass., resident has published photos and a first-hand account of the deadly gunfight between Boston Marathon bombing suspects and authorities on a residential street.

Andrew Kitzenberg posted the photos on his GetOnHand blog, before removing them Tuesday due to the ongoing investigation. Kitzenberg was working just after midnight Thursday when he heard several loud "pops." He looked out his window and photographed the gunfight as it unfolded with his iPhone 5. He spoke with CBS Boston about the experience.

The photos show Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev as well as the two vehicles they were driving—the green Honda Civic and carjacked Mercedez-Benz SUV. He watched as the two men exchanged gunfire with officers. The suspects went back to the car to get supplies during the gunfight, Kitzenberg writes.

His photos also show an exploded satchel bomb and the moments before the SUV runs down Tamerlan Tsarvaev and heads west on Laurel Street. A Watertown Police Department vehicle had crashed into Kitzenberg's driveway at the start of the gunfight.
