Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon told an Atlanta Police officer he would "find out who I am" and appear on national news for arresting her husband for drunk driving.
The star of "Walk the Line" (2005) was pulled over with husband Jim Toth early Friday morning. The officer had pulled over the couple's silver Ford Fusion for weaving in and out of lanes.
The officer told Witherspoon several times to remain in the car and while arresting Toth, she exited the vehicle and told the officer, "Do you know my name?" The officer answered by saying, "No, I don't need to know your name."
Witherspoon answered, "You're about to find out who I am," reports TMZ. The actress briefly resisted arrest.
In a Monday apology, Witherspoon said she was "deeply embarrassed" by the incident.
