The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released dash-cam video of a trooper striking a couple and their motorcycle on a highway at night.

Trooper Jacob Daymon, 30, was traveling west on U.S. 35 near Stringtown Road on Aug. 17 when his patrol unit slammed into a motorcycle from behind. Riders Corey Waldman and Amy Waldman were thrown from the bike during the crash.

The Waldmans suffered non-life threatening injuries mostly due to their helmets. Trooper Daymon wasn't injured in the crash, reports the Xenia Gazette.
