VIDEO: N.C. Officer Pulled from Patrol Car Wreck

Several bystanders pulled a Wilson's Mills (N.C.) Police officer from his smoldering patrol car after he crashed into a ditch.

Kathy Hoffman captured the rescue on her cell phone as she yelled to the bystanders to drag the officer from the car because she saw flames coming from under the vehicle. Officer Ashley McLamb was pulled out of his Chevrolet Impala at about 11 a.m. Sunday, reports WRAL.

The bystanders found the dazed McLamb inside the Impala. The officer suffered no serious injuries and the agency is investigating the cause of the crash.

Hurricane-Spawned Tornado Destroys Florida Agency’s Vehicle Storage Building

St. Lucie County Sheriff Keith Pearson said on a Facebook livestream the facility was a 10,000 square-foot vehicle storage facility that was destroyed in a matter of seconds by what he called a "devastating tornado."
