VIDEO: CHP Stuns Suicidal Bridge Jumper

Video captured by onlookers shows California Highway Patrol officers TASER a suicidal man hanging from a freeway overpass sign near Fresno.

Officers responded to the the U.S. 99 overpass just outside of the main section of Fresno to a man who was clinging to the State route 180 sign over the highway, reports the Daily Mail.

With the help of a cherry picker, officers reached the man and deployed the TASER. Video footage shows the man falling into an air cushion set up by firefighters.
