Dallas Officer Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident
A suspect remains at large after hitting a Dallas police car and seriously injuring an officer Sunday night. After the crash, the suspect fled on foot, leaving a passenger in the vehicle.
A suspect remains at large after hitting a Dallas police car and seriously injuring an officer Sunday night. After the crash, the suspect fled on foot, leaving a passenger in the vehicle, the Dallas Morning News reports.
The impact caused the suspect’s vehicle to spin around, hitting the left side of the police car. The second collision pushed the police car over the curb and into a street sign, a chain link fence and into the yard of a residence.
Both the officer and the suspect’s passenger were taken to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. The passenger has been released, but the officer’s condition is unknown.
