A Vancouver, Wash., police officer who was shot seven times during a traffic stop is now out of the hospital and recovering at home.
Dustin Goudschaal, a six-year veteran of the Vancouver Police Department, stopped a black pickup truck believed to be stolen Monday. That's when suspect James Sapp leaned out the driver's side window and opened fire, police said.
A witness came to Goudschaal's aid and bandaged a wound on his neck before paramedics could arrive.
