VIDEO: Off-Duty FBI Agent Stops Shooter in Illinois Bar
East Peoria Police are praising the efforts of an off-duty FBI Agent who took down a man after he opened fire in an East Peoria bar Saturday night, but authorities are still searching for what led to this tragedy, reports WMBD.
At a class reunion, 40-year-old Jason Moore of Creve Couer allegedly walked into the bar and shot his ex-wife, Morton resident Lori Moore, and her boyfriend Lance Griffel of Peoria.
And authorities say it could have been worse had it not been for the swift actions of an unnamed, off-duty FBI Agent, who shot and killed Moore inside the bar.
