As a patrol officer was making a left turn in San Bernardino he was struck by a white Ford truck head-on, officials added. The truck then crashed into a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s radar trailer, the San Bernardino County Sun reports.
CHP officials say the driver got out of the pickup truck and fled the scene of the crash on foot.
