A Fredericksburg, Texas, police officer shot during a weekend traffic stop is out of ICU and expected to make a full recovery.
Officer Bradley Durst, 29, made the stop before 2 a.m. Saturday. As Durst approached the vehicle, investigators say Rober Rendon, 31, shot Durst in the neck and the abdomen.
Police caught Rendon two hours later near San Antonio, KXAN reports.
Rendon is in the Bexar County Jail charged with attempted capital murder. His bond is set at $750,000.
