To offer tough lightweight, safety-approved lighting options, Pelican Products, Inc., designer and manufacturer of advanced portable lighting and high-performance protective case solutions, has introduced three new safety approved headlights.

Based on the established models from the company's Pelican ProGear consumer line, each headlight is Class 1 Div. I approved for hazardous environments, available in either black or safety yellow, and equipped with a wide range of features, allowing for multiple applications:

Pelican 2745 LED Headlight

•              Three LEDs with dual modes:

o             High (33 lumens / 20 hrs.)

o             Low (17 lumens / 40 hrs.)

Pelican 2755 LED Headlight

•              Single high-powered LED with multiple modes:

o             High (72 lumens / 6 hrs.)

o             Low (34 lumens / 15 hrs.)

o             Flashing

•              Low battery warning

Pelican 2765 LED Headlight (Available Fall 2014)

•              Three LEDs with multiple modes:

o             High (105 lumens / 4 hrs., 15 min.)

o             Low (65 lumens / 6 hrs., 15 min.)

o             Downcast (33 lumens / 9 hrs., 30 min.)

•              Full time battery level indicator

All three headlights are engineered with an extremely durable IPX4 water/weather resistant polymer construction. They also pivot to a 45-degree angle to direct clean, brilliant light where it’s needed. Each weighs in at just over 3 ounces with three AAA batteries (included) and include both a rubber strap (for helmets) and a cloth strap (comfortable for bare heads). Each headlight is backed by Pelican’s "Legendary Lifetime Guarantee of Excellence" and is available for purchase through any of the company's authorized resellers.
