A Pennsylvania woman is accused of stealing a police cruiser, while handcuffed, and then led police on a chase at speeds over 100 miles per hour.

Center Township Police told KDKA TV 27-year-old Roxanne Rimer was caught shoplifting at a Kohl’s store.

Rimer was handcuffed, and put into the back of a police cruiser when she somehow managed to slip through the plexiglass divider while handcuffed.

Center Township Police Chief Barry Kramer today offered a theory of how Roxanne Rimer allegedly stole a police cruiser while her hands were cuffed behind her back.

He thinks she may have been able to use a finger or two to control the steering wheel, and doubts she used her shoulders or feet.

Police say she led them on a high speed chase down Route 51, with speeds reported at 120 mph at one point.

Rimer is facing a long list of charges, including possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers say they found heroin needles on her.
