VIDEO: Off-duty D.C. Officer Shot in Michigan
An off-duty Washington, D.C., police officer visiting Michigan was shot early Monday morning in Dearborn, reports WDIV-TV.
Police said the 32-year-old off-duty officer was with another man, a 34-year-old Detroit resident, in a white SUV outside The Pantheion Club on Michigan Avenue around 3 a.m. when the between four and eight shots were fired at their SUV.
Police said the off-duty officer suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his side. The other man suffered a graze wound to his torso.
The officer drove to the 9th Precinct in Detroit for help.
