Baltimore City Police Capt. Eric Kowalczyk said nearly 100 officers have been injured since the violence started Monday. Police said that of the 98 officers injured, 43 required emergency treatment at a hospital, 13 have been unable to return to work and another 15 are on limited duty.
Kowalczyk said 201 people were arrested during the riots and 106 of them were subsequently released after 48 hours because specific charges couldn't be filed.
He says police are reviewing surveillance footage and expect to charge many of those people once their identities have been confirmed.
Earlier Thursday, Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby said her office will continue to gather and verify facts received by the Baltimore Police Department as the investigation into Gray's death continues.
