Miko Grimes, wife of Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes, was arrested at Sunday’s Dolphins-Bills game by Miami-Dade Police.
Grimes was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct, police told the Daily Dolphin.
Police said after she ignored orders not to walk into a restricted area outside the stadium, the situation escalated to the point that she head-butted an officer and nearly was tased.
According to police, after Grimes, 40, was handcuffed, they stood her up, at which time she head-butted an officer. Another officer then activated his TASER and told her he would use it unless she calmed down. She did, but later began kicking an officer, who again restrained her.
