NV Officer Dragged By Car During Traffic Stop

A Las Vegas Metro officer suffered nonlife-threatening injuries when he was dragged by a vehicle during a traffic stop just west of the Las Vegas Strip.

A Las Vegas Metro officer suffered nonlife-threatening injuries when he was dragged by a vehicle during a traffic stop Saturday night just west of the Las Vegas Strip, reports KSNV.

The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. on South Rancho Drive and Sirius Avenue, according to Metro Officer Laura Meltzer. The officer made a vehicle stop then got into a physical altercation with the driver. The driver got back into the vehicle and dragged the officer a few feet before he was able to break loose.
