NV Authorities Warn Public About Bogus Fallen Officer Accounts

The North Las Vegas Police Department is warning the public of a fake GoFundMe account raising money for the detective who died Saturday after being hit by a wrong-way driver.

The North Las Vegas Police Department is warning the public of a fake GoFundMe account raising money for the detective who died Saturday after being hit by a wrong-way driver.

According to the department, there are no authorized or legitimate GoFundMe accounts set up to benefit Detective Chad Parque's family, Las Vegas Now reports.

All donations should be directed to the only account that has been established to aid the family.
