Point Blank Enterprises has announced an exclusive new program for reserve and auxiliary law enforcement officers across the country. This new program allows for direct purchase of Point Blank Body Armor's body armor systems at discounted prices.

Reserve officers and auxiliary officers will have an opportunity to purchase the Point Blank Body Armor brand of concealable body armor with a variety of ballistic systems including select NIJ .06 Level IIA, II, and IIIA models. These body armor systems meet Point Blank's stringent quality control standards and have the standard 5-year ballistic warranty from the time of purchase.

"We are very excited to offer this program," stated Hoyt Schmidt, Executive Vice President of Commercial Sales at Point Blank Enterprises. "Reserve and auxiliary law enforcement officers are our neighbors, friends and relatives. They are exposed to the same hazards as full time officers and deserve to wear the finest body armor available and we sincerely appreciate their service and volunteerism."

This new program is needed now more than ever, says the company. According to recent FBI statistics, the number of line-of-duty deaths has been on an uphill climb, with 66 law enforcement officers feloniously killed in the line of duty in 2016. And law enforcement officers who do not routinely wear body armor risk fatal injury at a rate 14 times higher than officers who do, according to the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF).

In order to qualify for the program, reserve officers can visit the Point Blank website at https://www.pointblankenterprises.com/rop/ and sign up to initiate the verification process. The simple purchasing process allows officers to select their desired NIJ .06 threat level, ballistic model, appropriate size and carrier color (black or navy). Upon placing their order, the reserve officer can expect on-time delivery within 2-3 weeks.
