Police are looking for the person who shot at a Eunice, LA, officer's home Tuesday night. It happened just before 10:00 on Halsey street and police think the bullet was intended for the officer, reports KATC.
"I'm thinking that he was targeted because he was an officer," Police chief Randy Fontenot said. "I don't think it was just a random shooting."
Fontenot says the officer, his wife, and their child were in the home when the shooting happened. However, nobody was hurt. Now police are hoping to find a car caught on surveillance video near the home when the shooting happened.
He added, "We don't take this activity lightly. We will investigate and we won't let up until we find who's responsible for it."
