West Virginia Police Officer Shot Outside Hospital by Escaping Inmate
Around 2:30 Saturday afternoon Ogle escaped Montgomery Police custody. Charleston Police were called in to help catch Ogle. The Charleston (WV) Police Department has arrested a man who reportedly shot a police officer after escaping custody.
Chief Steve Cooper said Bryan Lee Ogle II, was wanted out of Tennessee when he got picked up by the Montgomery (WV) Police Department. Officers there arrested Bogle after a pursuit last week. Ogle was being treated at CAMC after sustaining injuries during his arrest in Montgomery.

Chief Cooper is not yet releasing the name of the officer shot, but says he is OK, WOWK TV reports.
Ogle was arraigned Sunday in Kanawha County. Among the charges are attempted murder and assault of a law enforcement officer.
