Kentucky State Trooper Accidentally Shot, Flown to Hospital

A Kentucky State Trooper was shot in Bell County Tuesday while placing a rifle in his car, police said.

A Kentucky State Trooper was shot in Bell County Tuesday, reports WYMT.

Police said the trooper was shot while placing a rifle in his car when the rifle accidentally went off and shot him in the arm.

The trooper was flown to Holston Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
