Tennessee Police, Firefighters, "Battle" in Blood Drive

The Tennessee Titans said in a news release that the Battle of the Badges has collected more than 2,385 pints (1,130 liters) of blood in the last 10 years.

Nashville police, Davidson County Sheriff's Office, Nashville Fire Department, the American Red Cross, the Tennessee Titans football team and Saint Thomas Health are taking part in annual "Music City Battle of the Badges" blood drive in Nashville.

The public was also encouraged to participate in the event being held at Nissan Stadium, home of the Titans, according to a Battle of the Badges Facebook post.
