Arizona Police Shoot, Wound Man Holding Replica Gun

Police had been called to an apartment complex in response to reports of shots fired.
Officers arrived to the suspect's apartment to see the man peering through his window blinds.
As one of the officers approached the front door, the suspect opened the door and pointed what appeared to be a handgun at the officer.
"The officer proceeded to tell the man to drop his weapon, at which the suspect exited the apartment and charged at the officer with his gun raised, authorities told AZcentral.
The officer then fired at the suspect, wounding him. The suspect was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
