According to KFDA-TV News, the "Community Safety Education Act" requires all high school students in Texas to watch an educational video—entitled "Flashing Lights"—to teach them how to safely interact with a police officer during traffic stops.

According to KFDA-TV News , the "Community Safety Education Act" requires all high school students in Texas to watch an educational video—entitled "Flashing Lights"—to teach them how to safely interact with a police officer during traffic stops.
The goal of Senate Bill 30—passed by the 85th Texas Legislature—is to define the behavior and expectations of citizens and law enforcement during traffic stop interactions.
The law also compels new drivers to watch the video before taking to the road.
