Arkansas AG Names Longtime ASP Special Agent "Law Enforcement Officer of the Year"

Becky Vacco—a longtime special agent with the Arkansas State Police—has been named Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge.
"The dedication of Corporal Vacco to stand up for victims of child abuse is admirable," AG Rutledge said.
"Arkansas is lucky to have officers like Corporal Vacco who are willing to represent these victims against their accuser, often giving a voice to those unable to speak for themselves," Rutledge said.
Vacco was also awarded the Arkansas State Police Distinguished Meritorious Service Award.
Marion County Sheriff Clinton Evans—who before becoming sheriff served with the Arkansas State Police—told the Baxter Bulletin, "Becky Vacco is an outstanding law enforcement officer who does a great job with tough cases," said Marion County Sheriff Clinton Evans, who before becoming sheriff served with the ASP. "We are very fortunate to have her here in the area and to work with her."
