Earlier this week, Baltimore police released body camera footage from a fatal officer-involved shooting in September. One officer was shot multiple times, but thankfully he was wearing his ballistic vest.
Officer Phillip Lippe was shot by 29-year-old Nathaniel Sassafras, police said. Lippe was reportedly hit three times, in his arm and in the ballistic vest he wore. According to Point Blank, Officer Lippe was wearing a Point Blank Hi-Lite vest, which helped save his life. He is expected to be OK.
