A man reportedly killed his wife and four others before turning the gun on himself in an agricultural town in central California, according to the Los Angeles Times.
While an exact motive for the killing spree was not disclosed, Lieutenant Mark King of the Kern County (CA) Sheriff's Office said "there's a strong indication" that the rampage in Bakersfield was a case of domestic violence.
According to CNN, the man shot and killed a man at a trucking business, then fatally shot his wife. He then went to a nearby sporting goods shop where he killed two more men. He then reportedly went to a nearby residence, where he killed two more men.
He then reportedly turned the gun on himself.
