Oregon "Cop Watcher" Faces Charges of Violating Stalking Restrictions

A man who had been ordered to stay away from Portland Police Chief Danielle Outlaw has turned himself in to police for violating that court order.

According to OregonLive, a man who had been ordered to stay away from Portland Police Chief Danielle Outlaw has turned himself in to police for violating that court order.

Self-proclaimed "cop watcher" Eli Richey was reportedly standing "very close to her and reported that the contact made her feel fearful and angry," according to a police affidavit.

Richey now faces three misdemeanor charges of violating the court's stay away order.
