A restaurant in Maine delivered hot meals to officers at the Bangor (ME) Police Department on Labor Day, according to WABI-TV.
The restaurant was one of hundreds of Olive Garden franchises across the country that took part in the effort to thank law enforcement for their service.
It is the 17th year that more than 850 Olive Garden restaurants delivered a pasta lunch to firefighters, law officers, and other emergency workers in their communities on the holiday.
"It always warms your heart a little bit because the response you get from them is that they are very appreciative and they are very humble so that is also a great reason to give back to them," an Olive Garden spokesperson told WABI-TV.
