Illinois Task Force Officer Hospitalized with "Unknown Medical Emergency"

The DEA confirms the task force officer was reported missing some time after the completion of an overnight law enforcement operation. Following a search, the officer was located and transported to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

An Illinois State Police officer assigned to a DEA task force was taken to the hospital Thursday morning following an "unknown medical emergency," according to WLS-TV in Chicago.

The DEA confirms the task force officer was reported missing some time after the completion of an overnight law enforcement operation.

Following a search, the officer was located and transported to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

No further details have been released.
