Ohio Officer Injured as Distracted Driver Slams Into His Patrol Vehicle

According to WLWT-TV, Officer Scott Hamilton was in a town of the same name when the driver took a sudden left turn directly in front of the oncoming officer's car.

An officer with the Trenton (OH) Police Department was returning from a prisoner transport assignment when a driver distracted by his mobile phone slammed into his patrol vehicle.

According to WLWT-TV, Officer Scott Hamilton was in a town of the same name when the driver took a sudden left turn directly in front of the oncoming officer's car.

Officer Hamilton was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released.

The driver was cited for failing to yield.
